Okay, so let me start by acknowledging that I'm a bit of a curmudgeon and don't like change very much, so I'm trying to be open to the fact that other people saw a need for this and have put in time and work to make it happen and that I will probably (lol) survive it.
That said, here are the things I don't like:
1. I like to buy multiple toys from a seller because it increases my chances of snagging a great deal. I don't like that sellers listing 4 toys (or 3 or 2) will be separated into 4 different sales posts. It makes it hard to see that a bundle may be possible. Could the seller's username be shown on the main marketplace page so that buyer could at least visually scan for multiple listings? I see that the additional listings are available once I open a listing, but that means having to click on a listing to check if the seller has multiples.
2. Further, if I find 3 listings I want to see about bundling, I'm now going to either PM the seller or go into discussion on one of the listings. Either way, there is less visibility to buyers interested in one of the other toys who don't know I'm asking about it in a different listing's discussion thread. Plus it could be confusing to other buyers interested in the toy actually listed and seeing questions about one of the seller's other listings. Or will it be a rule to only discuss bundling in a PM? And only openly discuss the toy listed? (in which case I have to make a private inquiry or go to all 3 threads to ask questions openly instead of asking everything openly in one place.)
3. I also don't like that I now have to check 2 different places to find toys for sale: the Marketplace for individual listings, and the Group Sales post for larger sales. No doubt I will periodically forget that one or the other exists. I already forget about the trade thread most of the time.
I do like being able to scroll through pictures of individual toys and prices without having to click on each listing, but that's not really worth the loss in utility for me personally. It seems well-suited for buyers and sellers only dealing with a single toy though.
Sorry this all sounds so negative. I really do appreciate the fact you all are activel to improve Dragon Moor, and I'll probably adapt eventually. I just personally like the old style better. It felt more personal and interactive, whereas this feels like eBay. Just one collector's opinion though.
As for the other changes:
1. I prefer boxy avatars, but I don't feel too strongly about it.
2. I like having more reaction and in-text emojis!
3. For the group sales, is it optional or default for tags to show up in the listing title? It's awesome that tags are available to improve searching, but for the couple of sales I've noticed using them, they take up a lot of space and make it harder to read the title of the sale in the Group Sales list. Could the tags maybe be listed at the bottom of the sales post and not visible on the Group Sales page?
