    My mom came into my apartment while I was away and threw away my entire collection. R.I.P all my rare babies... and my wallet after this last black friday to start it back up again.

    The more petty people become and the more I get walked all over for a toy just makes me want to stay out of the community. Theres a lot of positivity of course, but oof.. I should get onto responding to possible new site owners.

    @nyaraa i just personally can't handle this job (ik ik, i gave it to myself). Other people who are able to be strict with their friends and aren't so soft or someone who isn't as close with the community in a one on one aspect would fit well, but its not a paid position so no one like that would want to run it unless they would do so poorly in an attempt at a cash grab. -sigh- it is what it is.

    tf when you dont like having a big collection, but when you go through to sell them, you end up going well i wanna keep this one, but that one too, well this one has this texture, need one in this size, etc etc etc lmfaoo it shouldnt be this hard

    These things are a pretty big investment; it can be difficult to let them go when a part of you really doesn't want to. There's no shame in a large collection. If you aren't hurting for cash, keep them. I run into the same problem, trying to sell some because I think I should rather than needing to. Even ones that are too damn large to use, I can't seem to let go.

    I've made sure when selling the ones I've sold or want to sell that I'm 100% sure I don't want them, regardless of if I might use them. With some, it's because I have the same model in a different firmness that works better for me. With others, they're ones that absolutely didn't work for me and I never have touched again. I do have special ones I'll never sell though.

    Yeah. Money for me is a sporadic thing. I can have a good chunk of extra coming in, over the course of several weeks, then absolutely nothing for months and we're living check to check, worried about getting necessities. That's the main reason I don't think it's a good idea for me to take over: I just never know what my money situation will be.

    Thinking of actually auctioning off an RR.. my M crackers. It's crazy because it's a special one to me, but because it's so big I never use it and I could use the extra $ rn or I wouldnt... tough call ;-;
