Hi. I don't know if this has been asked already: if I want a Light Natural or Dark Natural coloration (on its original toy, not a swap), is it considered custom, and as such does it come at an increased cost?
Also, I'm not really sure of the meaning of this that you wrote: "Some models can't support their respective naturals but can probably be put on others (Pretzel can't support fades but others can have fades, Rex can't have splits but you can get splits, etc) "
Does it mean that e.g. Rex has standard coloration with split base color, but you can't order a split base color as custom? That sounds extremely weird...
Hey! So the old naturals WILL be considered a custom (aka more money. Like for Flint's light natural, it's a solid with a highlight (2 colors) so it's 20$)
And that's pretty much what I mean. Pretzel's old Signature "Feathered Serpent" or any of his old natural can't be ordered on himself, since Pretzel doesn't support fades (anymore) HOWEVER you can still request these colors on other models that CAN support fades
Same with Rex, his current Signature is a split (kinda) fade but he can't be ordered/customed to have a different color base (the only split base you can order is his Signature now...sadly)...
I hope I explained that ok? The models and old natural/signatures get really confusing because you don't know off the bat what models can still support their old colors, let alone other models....a way I try to figure it out is going on the model's page.
Let say I look at Stan. He can support fades, marbles, and highlights but there's no option to custom a different base color. So it's safe to assume he can't support those (anymore). But let's say we look at his old color Tyrannosaurus Sex...which is a split base and a fade, since Stan can't support splits, this color can't be ordered on Stan. But then we look at a model like Roland (which can support split fades and checking his page) HE can support this color.
Like I said, super confusing and this logic doesn't apply to all models but I find it works like...85% of the time
