Followed this friend and went with him upstream. Who'd have guessed he travelled so far from his home. Then again, when you can swim upstream and are part fish (of some sort) it probably helps cut down on travel time.
Today we have a very special boy that's here helping me come up with something to do for the day.
Made by HowlingHorror toys, color idea by me.
I wanted to do something different for this set...aka Phelvia finally goes outside. And for today our lovely friend has chosen wine and chocolates outside the gardens.
The pictures don't do him justice, they're super vibrant in person. He's also got GITD and UV.
Random Bite
I was drawing blanks on photo ideas for a few sets. My fiance told me to go outside...and also "please stop poking me with these". So I did.
I'm usually wary about taking these "off site" for various reasons but I'm quite pleased with the results. :3
No recipe this time. Since this guy is actually very personal to me.
Who wants to go on a nature trail with our Dimetrodon friend? Eloss knows all of the best routes and even a few that are much less traveled. Pack some snacks and some comfortable clothes. Maybe water too.
Random Bite:
He accidentally came with a suction cup though I wasn't charged for it. I also forgot to take pictures of the glow. Whoops
Speaking of less traveled routes, for this morning I decided to make my way up the mountain. Around these parts, there are ice caves in the mountains where Deathmask drakes make their home, preferring the high altitudes. The best time to look for them is early morning or dusk when they're the most active.
The subspecies found here are Gem eaters. As their name suggests, their diet consists of gemstones and crystals. Though meat isn't off the menu. As they make their homes in ice, they have easy access to water.
Now that we've concluded our Outdoors collection: Phelvia Finally Leaves the House and takes the Dick Off outside. We're on page five of my Kitchen, so to celebrate let's head on over to grab something sweet.
This set is different in that it's basically a rapid fire photo set of fifteen various colored Bonbons with a corresponding friend. Some new friends not shown yet and some old will make a debut.
Without further adieu I present to you the BonBon series.
Christmas...in July??
(I've actually had this lady longer than a month lol. She has been sitting in KV's inventory since last Dec and I kept going back to this toy. Then I finally bought this Leena. Along with a few others )
Also, I finally made a twitter! Come say hi if you want! @PhelviasKitchen I'm going to keep posting here and also there as well.
Fresh baked brownies and my assistant, Jacobi! He's better at taste testing everything I whip up than cooking, but he is a pretty good helper. Though...if I left these out he would wind up eating every last crumb Don't even get me started on pie and cookies. Those are his favorite so I wind up doubling up the batch.
(Possibly re-migrating back here or at might be here more often again)
Sunrise Coast Bone-Mask Drake:
Only active between dawn to noon, these drakes prefer their homes to be coves and holes on cliffsides, overlooking the sea. Their diet consists of sea life and crabs, with the occasional fruit
Active at dusk, these large drakes soar and flit through clouds along their coastal homes (the more clouds the better...extremely active when it's also raining). Their mouths and underbellies shimmer and shine, mirroring that of sunsets.
Up in the frigid alpines there lives a solitary(?) and quite large dragon. It has scales as bright as the newly fallen snow of their home. Certain parts (Wings, underbelly, mouth, etc) have shimmery greens, blues, and pinks that seem to dance in the light. On other parts, there are golden bands that wrap around the body in various places.
