How to store your dragon?

Here's an age old question. How does everyone store their toys & accessories? I'm currently using 2 of these Sterilite 10 Gal Stacker Totes /w accesories in one tote & sleeves n dicks in the other(probably going to need another tote).

They're normally wrapped individually but I wanted to show em in all their glory.

I used to store them in drawstring bags, in storage totes/tubs. Then I got annoyed at always having to rifle through a fuckton of toys to find the one I wanted (even when I had the totes' contest labeled) so I took all my favs and put them on shelves in my closet. That way, I could open the door, see everything, select whatever and go straight to playing. Then, I got bored with that and put them, still in drawstrings, into collapsable drawers that fit nicely on a shelf by my bed. Same issue regarding having to rifle through everything to get to a toy. They're sitting out on the closet shelving again, mostly. Most of my larges and all of my XL's are in a huge storage tote in the bottom of the closet.

In ziplock bags in cardboard boxes. Simple, effective, near-free, no lint, no toy interactions, and you don't have to pull a toy out of a fabric bag to see it.

I was actually considering drawstring bags, now I'm not so sure. Where did you get your bags anyways?
I just did a Google search for "Drawstring bags for sale". I'm in Australia; I got mine from Ecosilk. They are really simple to make as well. You can also get them on Etsy. There used to be a maker on there with a shop called "Wonky Bags"; I'm not sure if they're still going or not. Anywho, a quick Google search should yield you results.

I don't use double lined boxes. Those never come in the mail. I reuse shipping boxes I get from buying stuff online or free boxes from the grocery store. Boxes aren't as stackable as the plastic containers. I think I might prefer the containers, but I'm too cheap to buy them.

You can't simply store the toys in cardboard without some type of barrier. The toys all 'sweat' which stains and possibly degrades the cardboard. If you store toys in plastic, make sure they're dry before putting them away.

i have one of those beds where the underside has built in drawers. i had been setting my toys in that. i've reached the point where they've started to pile on top of each other, so i'm going to grab some gallon ziplock baggies and individually bag them. they're in plastic grocery store bags as i type this.

I keep most of mine in a giant Rubbermaid, and the ones I use most often are in drawers in my nightstand or dresser, wrapped in towels or toy bags.

A big old steamer trunk with a few pillow on the bottom with a sheet wrapped around everything. I have picts in show off your collection thread.

I also have a smaller wooden trunk that I'm gonna have to start using. Too many toys

I keep my gang in a duffle bag at the end of my bed. Its getting really heavy, and chunky from all the toys I have collected so far... ;n;

Because theyre all platinum cured silicone toys and because ziplock bags crinkle when you're searching for a toy at 2am, I keep them in the buff

I have a bed with drawers built in. I tried just storing them in the drawer but cat/dog hair still got in. I've been using a shoe storage thing that has multiple compartments stuffed in the drawer but I now have more toys than it can hold so I need to find another solution. :X

I have a similar situation. My bed has little cubby holes in the headboard and I store my toys in them, but hair still gets in >.<

When I only had a couple of toys, I just kept them in an drawer under my bed, wrapped in a towel. As my collection started to grow, however, the towel plan began to fail and I started looking around for drawstring bags. There are certainly plenty of shops out there with bags for sale, but I couldn't quite find what I wanted... so I ended up just buying the nerdy material I wanted and making my own.

I may have gotten a little carried away and made some extras. If you're looking for nerdy drawstring bags to buy, they are here. Hope you enjoy!

Do you do custom orders for larger sizes? I have a few L and XL toys. Gah, I love that Harry Potter one.

Certainly! (That was one of my favorites, as well)

Feel free to send over the toy/size and we'll figure out the particulars!
