I love Weredog's sculpts so much. They are always super clean, with just the absolute perfect kind of rounded toony, yet realistic details. Gage is so gorgeous, I could keep him on my desk just to look at all day <3
Gage is sized small, and I'd say he is a pretty decent small. Very comparable to a real life average sized cock (but with more fun!). I wanted more toys that I could break out for casual fun when I don't feel like stretching, or if I have gone a long stretch without toying for awhile.
Weredog's medium silicone is very silky to the touch, and is just a tad softer than BD's medium. Not a dramatic difference though.
Gage came with his own fabric storage bag with the Weredog logo on it. I still LOVE that they do this, it makes storing toys way nicer and easier, and tells me that they really value the quality of what they produce.
In Use (Vaginal):
Gage's smooth, humanoid head is super fun to tease my clit with before allowing him inside~ Don't let his small size fool you, Gage is not an underwhelming dragon. Initial insertion was fairly blunt. It wasn't a struggle or anything by any means, but you definitely know he's there! The belly scales are SUPER noticeable, surprisingly so, even in small size. They feel amazing along the back wall of my vagina. Also to my relative surprise, the vein detail that runs along the top of Gage's shaft can also be felt on the underside of my clit. It's not as intense as the bellyscales (to my relief), but it still does it's job very well. This is a toy that really shines when you, or your partner, aggressively thrust it in and out fast. The light clit stimulation in front, mixed with those prominent belly scales along the bottom come together in an experience that is probably similar to meeting God.
And we didn't even get to that knot yet!!!!
Gage's knot is slim, perfectly shaped, and the space behind the knot is pretty thin. The smooth knot works in direct contrast to his highly textured shaft, and going from one to the other and back again is just...divine really. His knot gently spreads you, and he will stay in place once knotted. He won't lock into place, like he doesn't need a serious tug or anything to come back out, but he will sit and stay there when you orgasm. And orgasm he will make you do lol. All of my orgasms with Gage in one session I would rank as fairly intense, which I owe absolutely to those belly scales, and that grindable knot.
All in all, he serves his purposes for what I wanted him for extremely well. I love this toy a lot already, and I can definitely see him becoming one of my most reached for toys. This does not mean he is free of faults though. The base is extremely thin and hard to hold. This can make him difficult to use at times, and in some people, may even make him downright unusable. I am going to reiterate the idea to use him with a partner lol. It's also thin enough so that it 100% WILL become completely coated with lube/fluids and get very slippery on top of it all. I find that I have to really reach far and curl my fingers under his balls and keep my palm flat against the back of the base to really use him the way I like to.
That all being said, I do still love Gage a lot, and would like to one day maybe try him in medium size.
DO GET THIS TOY IF:
- You love toys that have an underside ridge. Maybe you love Flint, but want an option that isn't as girthy-huge. (Their ridges feel very similar)
- You want an ideal toy to use with a partner as well as by yourself.
- You like to fuck yourself silly with fast and intense thrusts
DON'T GET THIS TOY IF:
- The thin base will be a serious problem for you
- You have issues with length. If you think the small size is too underwhelming, make sure you double check the usable length of the other sizes. This is especially applicable to vaginal users who have a hard limit.
- You're looking for a toy that has a curve, or a toy that is exceptional for G spot stim. Gage is more about textures, and while he feels great, and I love it, I would not put him among the best of the best for g spot targeting. (Check out Weredog's Skylar for that instead!
