I've decided to get back into toy reviews because any time I am interested in a new model I have a hell of a time trying to find any kind of discussion on it, so I'd like to do my part in saving the trouble for other people. n.n
Want to start by sharing my take and experience with Weredog as a company.
I am really impressed with this shop. Their models are sleek, but still realistically detailled and not short on variety and quality. The toy pricing is very reasonable and the sizing makes a lot more sense than BD's newer toys. I am so thankful I stumbled upon this store, it is absolutely becoming my new favorite.
That all being said, the only downside is that this IS a UK based company, so shipping is gunna be astronomical if you're like me and live in the States. Can't blame them for it though.

Ordering/Receiving:
I bought Skylar as an In Stock toy, and I'll be completely honest, I bought him only because he is fucking beautiful. I am a sucker for these colors, and for a good split fade, and I couldn't bear anyone else having him, so into my cart he went.
Upon arrival, it's pretty standard faire for these kinds of toys, plain brown box, cute caresheet inside, and....what's this? A free fabric toy storage bag?! Please tell me why this isn't the standard for ALL toy companies. Seriously it's a no-brainer, and because of this I now immediately lose a ton of respect for stores that don't do this, or make you pay extra for one.
The toy itself is rather large for me, being a medium, but I kinda expected that as....as I said, I bought him with my eyes and purely as an impulse, even though I knew a small would be better for me. He's not SO huge that it's unusable, just the kind of toy that's gunna take some warm up first. But fear not, for I am up to the challenge >)
The colors are exactly as the stock photos suggested, and holding him in my hands, this feels like top quality silicone. It does not have a glide-smooth finish rather, it has a very soft kinda skin-like texture to it, but not like printer texture, it's not anywhere near that harsh. It basically just feels like skin, and I am super impressed with it. I have bought from a few other stores, and this is definitely, hands down the best quality I have personally experienced thus far aside from Bad Dragon back during their peak. It's on par with that era!
(Please note: I am extremely picky about my toys, I don't normally like most indie stores because they look lumpy and visually unappealing to me, and aesthetics are v. important to me. Not saying those toys are bad or wrong, I'm just stating /my/ preferences for the sake of /my/ review lol)
In-Use (Vaginal):
It is important to note that Weredog ships their toys with a fine dusting of cornstarch to keep it fresh. You need to give it a good clean and rinse before you use it but honestly, you should always be washing your new toys before use.
I had been prepping for a few days beforehand with my smaller toys and staying knotted with them in an attempt to make taking this boy's thick cock a little easier lol.
His head is very forgiving and gentle going in. It's tapered at the immediate beginning, but it gets pretty girthy fast. I actually had to push him in about halfway and sit a moment with him in there to let my body get used to it and for that stretching pain (good kind of mild pain, nothing intolerable or severe!) to subside. At this stage, I could really feel those dramatic scales along the bottom. It was like a very mild and gentle popping in and out. In fact, that's going to be the theme here for this review, he is certainly a beast to be conquered but the whole experience was pretty gentle. Like, he knows he's huge, but he absolutely takes care of you 100% along the way.
Once my muscles relaxed enough and got accustomed to him, things were smooth sailing and before I knew it I just about hilted him completely! I don't feel those bottom scales as much once I got used to his size, but what I DID get was a spreading sensation unlike any other I've ever had in my personal collection. It's a sensation you just never want to end basically, like I just want to keep sliding down him forever and taking more and more of him inside for infinity.
The reason this model interested me was that obvious and dramatic curve, and oh boy did that not disappoint. I was able to make myself finish in rapid secession once I found that sweet spot and started railing my G spot. He found it perfectly and with ease.
All in all, I'm very happy I impulse bought a medium, while a small is more within my 'usual' range, I think Skylar is gentle and forgiving enough to coach and spread me wider, while also making it feel like a really profound experience. It's exactly the kind of sensation I'd been after, and I am over the moon with him!
My only relatively minor complaint would be that the base is a bit uncomfortable to hold (I like to toy on my back), it's kinda an awkward shape for that.
DO GET THIS TOY IF:
- You want to be stretched, but you want it to be a pleasant and gentle experience (no weird poking or ouchies)
- You want to nail your G spot repeatedly
- You like toys with a good curve
- You enjoy thrusting toys (I don't normally toy on my knees, but I can see him working really well for riding on top too!)
DON'T GET THIS TOY IF:
- You are looking for heavy texture (I didn't feel a whole lot of it with this toy, even in medium firmness)
- You find curved toys to be uncomfortable, or you aren't too sure on very curved toys yet
- You're looking for a 'tying' effect (this one is allllll about the ride baby!)
I'll get some better pics tomorrow when I can really go ham with the lighting because oh my GOSH do I think he is gorgeous..
I am also fairly sure that this is the exact toy they used on a promo when they asked twitter what his signature color should be, and while this one didn't win the popular vote, he won my heart and now we are together forever
