Earlier this month, someone asked my for my opinion on the toys from American Meat. I happily obliged and divulged into the pro’s and con’s of the two toys I’ve bought from them: both a two-hole canine and two-hole cheval. The review below is a compilation of all the information I’ve send him.
American Meat’s website
You can find their website at https://www.american-meat.com/. The images are basic, the descriptions factual and to the point and, in all honesty, they give me a better understanding of their products than some bigger vendors out there They offer both ready-to-ship products and customs, and the former is when I purchased mine. However, I've since regretted the purchase when it came to my attention that they advertise their products on Zooville, an online forum that promotes animal abuse. @chemicalcat has posted pictures of this in response to this review, so I recommend checking out his or her response below this review.
Disclaimer
First, I will start with a disclaimer that I don’t have much experience with penetrable toys. My first ‘fantasy‘ penetrable toy is a now legacy Lina the Motivator (example), making my purchase from American Meat effectively my second order of penetrable fantasy sex toys. Having said that, I am impressed with the sculpt quality.
Second, I also want to declare that the toys I’ve purchased from American Meat are two flops that they put up for where the Canine has some spots from air bubbles, while the Cheval has a slight discoloration on the right right. I do not believe, however, that they detract from the overall review of their products. It does mean I want to put out here I have not experienced the purchase process in regards to custom pours.
General toy impression
Sculpting quality
When I received my order the first impression I’ve got after unpacking was the quality of the sculpts. They have been modelled well and I can’t imagine what a challenge it must’ve been to pour these. The Canine most definitely takes the lead, considering the fur texture is extremely well done.
Noticeable downsides
The only downside is perhaps, the rather present mold lines which I, personally, find to be of low importance. Something else that I did notice was that the silicone has an above average stickiness. A light dusting with starch powder after cleaning easily solves this, however, and that is perfectly safe since these aren’t insertable toys (don’t use talc powder on insertable toys, it can increase chances of colon cancer).
Cleaning
One final thing that goes for both toys, before I move on to more specifically reviewing both toys. They are a little bit harder to clean than the average penetrable toy that I am accustomed to, owing to their generally closed openings entrance. These cannot be easily rinsed, so I discovered you will have to soak them in a bath of warm water (with some soap), then cleaning them with clean water and more soap, before finally rinsing them out and letting them dry in a well ventilated place for a number of days.
Review of the Canine
The Canine toy, found on their website at https://www.american-meat.com/collections/frontpage/products/canine-toy, is a very detailed sculpt.
The website, however, gives a bad impression of what to expect in regards to the texture. What I can tell is that the internal texture contains very few ridges, it rather goes for a more bumpy texture (which I suspect contributes to the difficulty of cleaning this toy). The texture can be considered soft, but stimulating.
I have purchased a Canine from their inventory with the "large vaginal insert" that ranges from 20mm to 31mm which, combined with the texture, means this toy provides below average stimulation. While this might sound unappealing, it’s actually great when you want to go for a longer experience.
The medium experimental anal insert has more conventional dimensions with 18mm at its narrowest point and 27mm at its widest. Here the average dimensions combined with the softer texture means a more average feeling.
I believe it’s soft stimulating feeling might partially have to do with the rather thin walls of this toy (which partially might have to do with the large vaginal insert) but I don’t find this a problem.
As a final verdict I would say, all-in-all, American Meat’s Canine offers a soft yet enjoyable experience that you can use for an extended duration. Just don’t expect an intense climax, but rather a smooth finish to an enjoyable experience.

The inside texture, as you can see on the website, is ridged. The toy tends to pull my finger when I try to pull it out (from a clean toy), meaning there is quite some pull that is very stimulating. This might stem from the fact that both the standard vaginal and standard anal insert have a slightly less than average dimension that I know off (usually it goes from 20 – 30 mm’s).
The standard vaginal insert has a dimension that ranges from 18mm at its narrowest point to 26mm at its widest, where the standard anal goes from 15mm at the narrow point to 25mm at the widest. The measurements are close, but the feeling differs greatly. The textures are comparable between both openings, though, so I cannot say if there is a real difference other than the amount of stimulation. American Meat even offers a tight vaginal and tight anal options, which start at 11 and 9 mm respectively, but I am not going to attempt that one myself.
As a final verdict, I would say that American Meat’s Cheval is a good all-round penetrable toy.
Considerations when you want to purchase either of these

- Would you recommend American Meat? Yes, definitely. They both look and feel great, having a clear distinct texture meaning they each have their own characteristics. Make sure to consider differences in vaginal/anal sizes. The differences can really allows for freedom of choice in the intensity of the experience if you purchase them with differing dimensions. […] I have one major objection with their [American Meat’s] toys, and that is that they are harder to clean and, especially, dry. They both have a lovely sculpted entrance but they are rather closed, meaning moisture has a harder time to evaporate. It appears to take several days to dry.
- If you have to choose one toy over the other, which one would you choose? If I had to choose, I would go for the equine because the canine toy is more loose and thus less intensive.
- Based on your experiences, would you recommend the dragon over the Cheval? I would not buy the toy personally, because I am afraid the toy will be too tight to my liking. However, judging by the products page [https://www.american-meat.com/collections/frontpage/products/two-hole-scalie-dragon-sex-toy] it appears to combine the Cheval’s vaginal texture with the Canine’s anal texture, while providing a spine ridge to provide textural enjoyment for the fingers. This would probably make it a great toy, if not for the tight inner dimensions [reflecting my personal preferences for a somewhat looser toy].
- I have decided on getting the canine. Would a med/med work I don’t want something too tight but nothing too loose either. I would certainly not take the large canine, since even for me its edging on being too loose (and I have a slightly above average girth). Therefore, I would recommend the med/med inserts. Their measurements seem comparable to other penetrable toys on the market.
