Once you're ready to ditch your old thread, you can edit your thread so it shows the [bought] or [sold] tag.
A mod will then move your post over into the Miscellaneous Archive subsection. In the case that anything goes awry during a purchase or sale, having the thread intact and archived allows us to use it as evidence to help your case!
You of course are then free to make a brand new thread if you're once again on the hunt or have new wares to peddle!
