    I swear the last few years my birthday comes around it has been more depressing feels than actually happy feels.

    This weekend I ticked over the good old 37 mark of life. However a few years ago I had massive fall out with mates and since things hardly ever spoken to them.

    Need to find a damn hobby or social outing activity to try meet some people, I got no one but my partner.

    Yeah it's pretty weird feelings, but even just not feeling the love on your own day is enough to feel like it's not even a special event or day any more.

    I have had quite the journey the last four years with relationships/friends/kids/lockdowns all in the mix and 420 characters isn't enough unfortunately but man it's pretty demoralizing at times.

    Same feels. It's why I'm trying to make my way back to some of my old hobbies, but the fact that the era of forums are dead means it's mostly in vain. I have my husband and literally no one else.

    You're not wrong, the amount of time I used to spend on different forums was pretty full on. But always something to discuss. I guess Reddit has taken over the forum era as well. I am heavily on Reddit but doesn't feel the same.

    I am also the same, my partner and that's it. Thank god she's amazing and we enjoy life together but still I miss actually having friends too. Need a hobby!!
