USA WTS wacom cintiq companion hybrid

decided to offer this up here before taking it to ebay.

i’m selling my wacom cintiq companion hybrid graphics tablet. the companion hybrid functions like an android tablet until you plug it into a computer, then it switches over to a monitor style graphics tablet. you can draw in android art apps with pen pressure, tilt support, etc.

i am asking $200 + shipping. the tablet retailed for almost $2,000.

**please read this thoroughly if you are interested.**
why am i selling it for $200? the port for charging and connecting to a computer is very finicky. at this point, the tablet is basically an android sketchbook. i contacted wacom customer support and they told me that if i shipped the tablet to them they would be able to replace the port. however, i actually did not like the monitor style tablet, so it isn’t worth the effort to me. i prefer my basic wacom input graphics tablet. my cintiq is rarely used. i’d like to sell it to someone who is interested in fixing it and then using it. wacom estimated that the repair would cost $200-300. so, you’ll be paying $400-500 + shipping after everything is said and done.

aside from the issue with the port, there is a small scratch on the screen from my cat.

there are no other problems. the tablet holds a full charge and the battery lasts through 5+ hours of use. the charge lasts for days while in sleep mode.

i have a full set of pen nibs, all of the cables, the pen’s case, and a squishy protective case/sleeve for everything.

i will be shipping with usps. the tablet will be wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap and then placed in a box with packing peanuts. shipping is $30 for the usa.

payment via paypal goods&services.

i strongly prefer money, but i am open to trading for toys with users who have positive feedback.

i will update with pics showing proof that the tablet works flawlessly (minus the port) later today.

Damn dude I'd buy this tablet from you in a heartbeat.... But the people that tax imports wouldn't believe that I paid only $200 and would tax the hell out of me. Probably the $2.000 or more...

that really sucks. )8 that’s a massive amount of import tax.

if i specified that it was a purchase of a used item on the form, would they tax you significantly less steeply... ?

yes is a scary amount of taxes.
They don't respect tax laws, and even if they did, taxes are still massive.. It's straight up stealing from people. Our country is a mess..
They wouldn't give a damn about it and tax an incredibly absurd amount still though, I'm sure..

i just checked - you’re in brazil. oof. it’s infuriating when governments and their employees behave like that. sounds like a dumpster fire.
