Votan was a model recommended to me like 7 months ago based on my preference for highly textured heads/heavy texture at g spot. I've been on the hunt for a pretty one ever since, and it took me, yes, THIS long to find one. BD just doesn't drop this model in small much, even for sales and promos.
First Impression:
Upon first taking him out, I was relieved to discover that his base is not really as bulky in real life as it looks in photos. It's pretty easy to grip onto and hold, at least in small. I also want to emphasize how much I love this pour from all angles. I know BD loves to photograph the 'prettiest' angle of a toy and that it can sometimes hide something weird. Not the case with this guy. I love him from every angle, and I'm seriously happy with the looks of this stripey goth raptor. =D
In Use (Vaginal):
This is where I get severely depressed and bummed out...
Votan is absolutely horrible in use
I absolutely, desperately wanted to love this toy. I really did, but this is a toy that fights you at every turn.
But lets start from to top.
Votan's head is incredibly fun, and I absolutely LOVE it. The problem comes immediately after it lmao. The curve of the shaft is okay, it kinda mutes the intensity of the head texture deeper inside when all the way inserted, but it's fine I guess. The main problem here is that there is not enough room between the shaft curve and the base of the toy. This means the toy will constantly try and push itself out of you. If you are not actively pushing holding it inside of you, your body just pushes it out. This is excessively annoying. It is distracting, causes arm fatigue stupidly quickly, and really just takes me out of the mood entirely. That, mixed with the inability to really feel those ridges grinding at my g spot makes this one of the worst toys I've ever used
If I was OK with only using 1/3rd of this toy, then it would be great, the head is fun to play with. But for $80+ I want to be able to get more out of it.
I give Votan a 3/10. I am super bummed about this experience. I was really really looking forward to this toy, I think mine is SUPER pretty, but it's been a major let down.
DO GET THIS TOY IF:
- You like sitting on toys. Votan would probably work better as a sit-and-ride toy, but make sure you get a suction cup on him. He is basically useless otherwise.
- You like external clit stimulation. The curve of the toy makes it easy and ergonomic to hold and use to rub the head ridges against your clit. But $80 is a steep price point if you're only using him for that. That's subjective though I suppose.
DON'T GET THIS TOY IF:
- You don't want to fight with a toy that does not want to be in you.
- You primarily toy on your back/thrusting
- You are expecting this to hit your g spot in any memorable way.
